Open Imports, then select New import.

Complete the import wizard

1

Select Source

Under Source Integration, search for and select the LMS source. Confirm the provider and status. An unavailable source cannot start a run.
2

Select Method

Under Import Method, choose one of the methods offered for that source.
3

Provide Details

Select terms or semesters, upload a CSV, add course IDs, choose search results, or enter an end-date cutoff. The fields change with the method.
4

Review the configuration

On Review & Start, confirm the source, method, selected course scope, and enabled options. Use Run Readiness to identify missing input.
5

Start the run

Select Start Import. K16 creates the run and opens its progress view when the run is available.

Provide method details

Search the list, select one or more rows, and continue. Use Refresh when the source contains a recently added period that does not appear yet.

Use import options carefully

The wizard may offer:
  • Use Course Code
  • Ignore Existing Course
  • Replace Existing Course
  • Only Pull Completed Courses
Do not enable an option because it is available. Confirm its intended effect with your K16 administrator, especially before you ignore or replace an existing archived course.
Selecting Replace Existing Course also enables Ignore Existing Course and locks that checkbox while replacement remains selected. Review the combined settings before starting the run.

Final review checklist

  • The source integration is the intended institution and LMS.
  • The selected method matches the desired course scope.
  • Every listed course, term, semester, or date belongs in this run.
  • The CSV identifier count matches your prepared list.
  • Any enabled option is deliberate and approved.
After launch, follow Monitor imports.
