Depending on your LMS Archive workspace you have the ability to Push a Course to your LMS or Restore the original LMS course if it was soft deleted. In order to Push to LMS or Restore a course, you must have access to View Integrations and either Push to LMS or Restore access.

Push to LMS

Sync to LMS feature has been renamed to Push to LMSPushing a course to the LMS create a new course in your LMS and pushes the course content only in to the new course.

Open the archived course

Find and open the course you wish to push to the LMS. Confirm the title, term, course code, SIS course ID, and source integration.

Select the Push to LMS

In the course navigation, select the Push to LMS page and scroll to the Push to LMS section.

Select an Integration to use

From the select dropdown, select an integration to use for pushing the course.

Choose the destination

Under Sync To LMS, select Sync to followed by the destination integration name. If only Sync course appears, use it only after confirming the configured destination.

Apply optional settings

  • Create new course, check this box if you course was previously pushed to the LMS and you would like to create a new course
  • Title change, select if you would like to add a prefix or suffix and then enter the prefix/suffix text

Select Push to LMS

Click the Push to LMS button, the course will begin the push process. Once the course is finished, the status will update accordingly.
If a course fails to sync,
  • check the integration and confirm the integration is active
  • confirm the LMS account used in the integration has create/edit permissions in the LMS
  • If you have a large course, the push may have times out, retry pushing the course
If you continue to experience a failed push, submit a support ticket.

Restore a course

Restoring a course only works on courses that have been soft deleted in the LMS. If the course has not been deleted or has been hard deleted from the LMS you will not be able to restore the course.When a course is restored, the original LMS course and enrollments are restored in the LMS.

Open the archived course

Select the Push to LMS

In the course navigation, select the Push to LMS page and scroll to the Push to LMS section.Choose Restore Course

Select Start Restore

In the Restore section on the Push to LMS page, select Start Restore. The course will begin to restore. Once the course has been restored, the status will update.
