Integrations connect your K16 workspace to learning management systems, student information systems, and customer relationship management systems. Open Settings > Integrations to inspect them. View permission allows inspection; Manage permission is required to create, change, duplicate, pause, or delete integrations.

Choose a provider, enter its settings, and review validation before creation.

Prepare and configure a Canvas integration.

Brightspace

Prepare and configure a Brightspace integration.

Status and lifecycle

Interpret health, pause syncing, update settings, and remove integrations.

Use the integrations dashboard

The dashboard summarizes Active, Paused, Offline, and Error integrations. It sorts higher-severity states first so you can address failures quickly.
  • Use Search integrations… to find a friendly name.
  • Filter by provider type or status.
  • Select a row to open Overview, Checks, and Config details.
  • Open the row action menu to view details, edit the name, pause or unpause, copy diagnostics, or delete.
The operational status and credential-validation status answer different questions. An integration can be active while saved credential validation is stale. Review both in the detail panel.

Plan an integration

Before you select New integration, identify:
  • the provider and whether K16 will pull from it or push to it;
  • the provider account approved for automated access;
  • the account or organizational scope K16 should access;
  • the provider settings and protected values required by the form;
  • an owner who can correct provider-side permissions.
Never place protected values in a ticket, screenshot, or documentation page. Enter them only in the K16 integration form or another approved secret-handling workflow.
