Use dashboard controls
Widgets can use filter and time-range controls when their query supports them. Confirm the default range, field mapping, and returned data in preview before you publish the dashboard for routine use. Dashboard data remains subject to catalog access. A widget can fail for another viewer when that viewer cannot query one of its entities.Use Reporting
Select Analytics > Reporting to open embedded workbooks. The explorer displays the folders and workbooks returned by the reporting provider. If you have reporting management access, open the create menu to select:- New folder;
- New workbook.
