Open Documentation > Business Glossary. Use Filter business glossary… to search terms and use Status to narrow the list to published or draft content. The table shows:- Term and version;
- Description and tags;
- Defined By blueprint;
- referenced blueprints;
- publication status and last update.
Create a term
New Term appears only when you have business glossary management access.

Start a term
Select New Term.

Name and define it
Enter a unique term name and a concise definition. Explain what the term means, not only where
it is stored.

Add tags
Add search terms that help people discover the definition.

Choose the defining blueprint
Set Defined By Blueprint when one catalog blueprint is the authoritative implementation.

Add references
Search Referenced blueprints and select other catalog entities where the term is used.

Save or publish
Save a draft for review or publish the term when its definition and coverage are ready.
Edit and publish
Open a term and select Edit. If the term has a pending draft, use Edit draft to continue that version. The term detail menu also provides:- Copy term to start from the current content;
- Version control to compare published and historical versions;
- Delete to remove the term after confirmation.
Write useful definitions
- State the business meaning in the first sentence.
- Define the population, time window, and exclusions when they affect interpretation.
- Avoid restating a column name without explaining it.
- Link to the blueprint that implements the definition.
- Update references when a blueprint is replaced or renamed.
