Before you begin, confirm that SIS Archive is available in your workspace and your role has Access SIS accounts. Academic, financial aid, finance, and human-resources records require their corresponding permissions.

Find an account

  1. Open SIS Accounts under Archive.
  2. Search with All fields, or choose Account Id, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Entity Indicator, or Non-Person Name to narrow the match.
  3. Compare Account ID, the person’s name, Entity Indicator, and Non-Person Name. A corporation record represents an organization rather than an individual.
  4. Select the matching account to open its detail page.
  5. Confirm the account identity, then choose the record area you need.

Review account records

Corporation accounts offer the contact, grants, finance, and purchasing views. The record areas and fields depend on the archived source. Use the section navigation and table search to locate a particular record. An access-denied message means your role cannot view that area; it does not establish that the account has no records. An empty section and a failed request also mean different things. Check the displayed message before escalating.

Verify and return

Compare source identifiers, dates, and record descriptions before using the data. Use Back to SIS Accounts to return to the directory. These pages review archived records; they do not update the source SIS. For LMS enrollment lookup and its CSV export, use People. For a workspace-wide grant search, use Grants.
