# Contact Support

> Prepare a useful K16 support request and choose the right support resource.

Use this documentation site for current product workflows, reference material, and new release notes. Use the [K16 Help Center](https://help.k16solutions.com/en/) for support announcements and historical support articles.

## Before you contact Support

1. Check the relevant documentation and [troubleshooting guide](/troubleshooting).
2. Ask your institution's K16 administrator whether the issue affects other people.
3. Reproduce the issue once and record the exact result.
4. Remove secrets and unnecessary personal data from any attachment.

## Include useful context

Provide:

* Your institution and selected K16 workspace
* The product area and page where the issue occurred
* What you expected to happen
* What happened instead
* The exact error message
* The date, time, and time zone
* A representative course, import, worksheet, deployment, or integration identifier
* The browser and operating system when the issue affects the interface

When a screenshot would help, attach one to the support request after hiding student information, credentials, and other sensitive data.
