Files on large archived courses now load in normal time instead of hanging, timing out, or retrying. Previously the listing could take over 100 seconds on large archives.
Fix **Invitations for previously removed users**
Reinviting someone who was removed no longer fails with a conflict error when they accept. Their account now restores correctly.
Fix **Canvas Backup navigation**
Restricted pages that weren't available to backup users are now hidden rather than reachable and broken: Global Search has been removed from the home dashboard, AI Connections no longer appears in personal settings or the command palette, and Files is hidden from the course sidebar for students. Files remains reachable from modules, pages, assignments, and direct links, and instructors still see it in navigation. The orientation guide now points to Courses in the sidebar.
Fix **User Data Management**
A new admin surface for Academic Holds and Removal Requests, with student search, hold updates, removal requests, and restore workflows. Available on Archive V2 tenants for administrators with user data permissions.
New **Export selected worksheet rows**
Select individual rows or a full page of analytics worksheet results and export or copy just that selection as CSV, TSV, or JSON. Exporting with nothing selected still returns the full query.
New **Bulk delete for Lakehouse imports**
Select multiple imports and delete them together, with a confirmation dialog and reporting if any individual delete fails.
New **Canvas Backup student experience**
Backup students now see a read-only orientation guide on the dashboard, and the course view has been tailored to their access: enrollments, grading configuration, and gradebook export are hidden, and quizzes show an overview without questions or other students' attempts.
New **SSN and TIN masking**
SIS account identifiers now display as \*--1234 in both list and detail views. Users with HR access can reveal a full value on demand, and plaintext is no longer held in query caches.
Improvement **Grade column submissions**
The grade column view now has a searchable, paginated submissions table with PDF export, and clicking a score opens the full gradebook entry detail. Headers stay visible while the table scrolls.
Improvement **Automatic course import**
Import-by-end-date settings are available again for self-service Archive V2 tenants, with configuration on Canvas and Brightspace integrations and source labels when creating an import. Enabled per tenant.
Improvement **Large worksheet results**
Analytics worksheets no longer freeze on large result sets — rows and columns now render only as you scroll to them.
Improvement **Long-running pages**
Pages left open for extended periods no longer accumulate memory. Imports and deployments stop polling when nothing is active, and dashboard widgets share a single update stream.
Improvement **Deletion confirmations**
Snapshot and schedule delete dialogs now name the item being deleted, so it's clear which one you're confirming.
Improvement **Course page headers**
Removed the repetitive instructional subtitles from course content headers across archive lists, detail pages, gradebook, files, and enrollments.
Improvement **Dashboard cleanup**
Removed the Integration and SSO provider shortcuts from the dashboard and New menu, and clarified the integrations widget when none are configured.
Improvement **SIS account pages**
Section tables hide search when there are only a few rows, academic history enrollments match the legacy list configuration, and permission copy no longer references enrollment export.
Improvement **Table row actions**
Row actions on admin users and integrations are now in a consistent overflow menu instead of varying by table.
Improvement **Canvas Backup course access**
Newly provisioned backup users can now reach their enrolled course list. Previously the Courses section was unavailable to them.

Refreshing the course list now shows newly synced and updated courses immediately, without a full page reload.
Fix **Group set member rows**
Clicking a member in a group set no longer navigates into the gradebook enrollment detail. Membership browsing stays on the roster view.
Fix **Blueprint role access**
Role access grants are now applied when a blueprint is published rather than during draft save, so only the roles you checked receive access.

Now closes on its own when a blueprint has no relationships to display.

Internal **Grade column categories**
Canvas courses now have a Categories drawer on the grade columns list showing assignment group weights, positions, and drop rules from the archived data.
New **Outcomes detail**
Restructured to match the legacy view: corrected proficiency rating and description sections, fixed decaying versus weighted average labels, added an Alignments section, and added outcome group navigation with a side panel.
Improvement **People archive**
Now matches the legacy layout, with Enrolled Courses and Messages tabs, LMS-specific enrollment columns, and detail views for conversations and user messages.
Improvement **Assignment detail**
Archived assignments now show aligned goals, submission counts, and LMS-specific facts, with categories resolved from legacy assignment group titles.
Improvement **What's New targeting**
Announcements are now scoped to the products your tenant actually has, so SIS Archive-only tenants no longer see DataX-only updates.
Improvement **Archived page detail**
Simplified to show publish status and page content, without the extra metadata panels used elsewhere in the archive.
Improvement **Grant and proposal tables**
Removed search inputs from short nested tables in grant and proposal detail — Location, Personnel, User Defined Data, and Pass Through Agency — where filtering a handful of rows wasn't useful.
Improvement **Pass Through Agency empty state**
No longer shows "No data available" above a valid Pass Through Indicator.

Internal **Integrations status updates**
The Integrations widget and admin list now refresh on a steady cadence instead of re-rendering on every sync event, so rows no longer jump position while syncs are running.
Improvement **SSO sign-in failures**
Users with a linked SSO account but no existing tenant record can now sign in instead of hitting a repeated `unable_to_get_user_info` error.

Internal **Exception Log**
Course Setup now includes an Exception Log with paginated import exception history, severity and interaction filters, search, and links back to import runs. Available on courses with imports enabled.
New **Platform status in the dashboard**
The profile menu and sidebar now show live platform health, with dismissible cards for active incidents and announcements.
New **Trust Portal link**
Added to the profile menu, below Docs. Opens the K16 Trust Portal in a new tab.
New **Faster dashboard navigation**
Pages respond immediately when you click, with loading skeletons on admin and analytics routes instead of a blank wait.
Improvement **Large file previews**
Spreadsheet and document previews for XLSX, CSV, and DOCX no longer freeze the page on large files. Long files show a bounded set of rows with a note about truncation.
Improvement **Diagram zoom controls**
Explore, Relationships, and Lineage diagrams now have +/− zoom buttons, including in dialog views.
Improvement **Snowflake connection errors**
Creating a connection no longer reports a false unauthorized-role error after the token is successfully issued. Error messages now explain what to do about duplicates, role conflicts, and timeouts instead of showing the raw backend error.
Fix **Lists shifting during refresh**
Integrations rows and lakehouse import results no longer jump or go blank while status refreshes in the background.

Internal **Course navigation**
Added an "All courses" link to the course rail and mobile menu. Removed the source-integration footer to declutter the rail.
Improvement **Reporting workbook errors**
When the reporting service fails to return workbooks, the page now shows an error with a retry option instead of an empty list that looked like you had no workbooks.
Fix **Integration credential checks**
Background credential validation no longer re-runs repeatedly during a session, which could cascade into spurious authentication errors on the integrations page.

Improvement **Gradebook score details**

Replies are indented and show author names instead of placeholder IDs, with reply counts on collapsed threads.
Fix **HEIC and HEIF photo previews**
These no longer appear as broken images in course files and folders. They now show a file type icon with a download option.
