# Archive overview

> Find, review, export, and restore learning records preserved in K16 Archive.

K16 Archive preserves course content and learning records outside your learning management system (LMS). You can review an archived course without changing its source LMS record.

<Note>
  Archive features depend on your workspace configuration and access. If you do not see **Courses**,
  **People**, or **Imports**, ask your K16 administrator to confirm your access.
</Note>

## What you can do

## How Archive is organized

Use the **Archive** navigation group to move between:

* **Courses** for archived course records
* **People** for the institution-wide person and enrollment directory
* **Course Imports** for import setup, progress, and course-level outcomes
* [**Documents**](/archive/documents) for archived document folders and files
* [**SIS Accounts**](/archive/sis-accounts) for archived SIS people and organizations
* [**Grants**](/archive/grants) for archived grant and finance records

Inside a course, the navigation groups related records:

* **Grading** contains the gradebook, grade columns, and grade scale.
* **Learning Content** contains the syllabus, modules, pages, files, and announcements.
* **Assessment** contains assignments, discussions, quizzes, quiz banks, rubrics, and outcomes.
* **Course Setup** contains settings and course sections.
* **Enrollments** opens the course roster and group sets.

The sections you see reflect the records available for that course and your access.
