# Review content and assessments

> Inspect archived learning content, activities, and assessment records.

Use the course navigation to review preserved content by record type. Start with **Modules** when you want the course's instructional sequence. Open the individual content section when you need a complete, searchable list.

## Review learning content

    For Canvas courses, use **Syllabus** to review the course-level syllabus. Other LMS archives
    surface syllabus content through preserved module items when available.

    Search modules by title or ID. Open a module to inspect its ordered items and follow links to
    preserved pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, or files.

  <Tab title="Pages">
    Search archived pages by title or body. Open a row to read rendered content and page metadata.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Announcements">
    Search announcements by title or content. Open an announcement for its message and source
    metadata.

    Browse the folder tree, preview supported files, and download individual files. See [Files and

## Review assessments

    Review assignment descriptions, state, points, dates, and linked submission records. Select an
    assignment to see its archived detail.

  <Accordion title="Discussions">
    Review the prompt, discussion metadata, and preserved replies. Nested replies remain associated
    with the discussion record.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Quizzes and quiz banks">
    Review quiz definitions, descriptions, linked questions, and question-bank records. Use the
    gradebook when you need a student's recorded attempt.

  <Accordion title="Rubrics">
    Review rubric criteria, rating levels, and related metadata. Compare the rubric with the
    assignment record when you need grading context.

  <Accordion title="Outcomes">
    Review archived outcomes and mastery criteria. Outcome details can include source fields that
    vary by LMS.

## Search and open a record

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose the record type">Select the relevant section in the course navigation.</Step>

  <Step title="Narrow the list">
    Enter a title, body text, or source ID in the section search. Adjust sorting or pagination if
    needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the record">
    Select the row to review rendered content, facts, related records, and additional source
    metadata.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Follow relationships">
    Use nested records and module-item links to move between related content without assuming that
    similar titles identify the same source item.
  </Step>

  Treat rendered links and attachments as archived evidence. Do not assume an external link still
  has the same content or access policy it had when the course was archived.
