# AI Detection overview

> Use K16 AI Detection reports to identify submissions that need informed human review.

K16 AI Detection brings institution, course, student, and submission reporting into one workflow. Use it to prioritize review. Do not use a classification or score as the only basis for an academic-integrity decision.

  AI Detection results are probabilistic signals, not proof of authorship or misconduct. Apply your
  institution's policy and review the original work, assignment context, and other relevant
  evidence.

## What you can review

## How reporting fits together

## Classification vocabulary

Reports can classify a processed submission as:

* **AI Only**
* **Mixed**
* **Human Only**

The report can also show an overall AI confidence or probability and sentence-level highlighting. These signals answer related but different questions, so they may not align perfectly.

  AI Detection reporting is available only in configured workspaces and to people with reporting
  access. If **AI Detection Dashboard** is missing, ask your K16 administrator to confirm both.
