# Manage integration status and lifecycle

> Interpret health, validate configuration, pause syncing, and remove integrations.

Open **Settings** > **Integrations** to monitor every configured connection.

## Operational statuses

| Status      | Meaning                                                                     | Action                                              |
| ----------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Active** | The integration is enabled and has not reported an operational failure. | Review recent sync time and credential validation. |
| **Paused** | Imports and syncing are intentionally stopped. | Unpause when the provider and workflow are ready. |
| **Offline** | K16 has not detected a recent successful sync or cannot reach the provider. | Open **Checks** and review the displayed reason. |
| **Error** | The integration reported a failure. | Open **Checks**, correct the cause, and revalidate. |
| **Unknown** | K16 cannot determine the integration's current operational state. | Open the integration and review its latest details. |

## Credential-validation states

The **Overview** tab shows **Valid**, **Invalid**, **Pending**, **Unsupported**, or **Unknown**, plus the last check and whether it is stale.

* Select **Revalidate now** to check saved configuration.
* Open **Config**, update a field, and select **Validate draft** when live draft validation is supported.
* A failed draft can offer **Save anyway**. Use that override only when you understand why validation cannot pass.
* A saved protected field displays as already stored. Enter a new value only when you intend to rotate it.

## Update an integration

Select the integration row, then:

* use **Friendly name** > **Save** to change its display name;
* use **Paused** to stop or resume imports and syncing;
* use **Config** > **Save config** to update provider settings;
* use **Copy diagnostics** to gather context for troubleshooting.

## Delete an integration

1. Open the row action menu.
2. Select **Delete integration…**.
3. Review the impact.
4. Enter the requested confirmation word.
5. Select **Delete**.

Deleting an integration stops future syncing and is not easily undone. Confirm that no import, restore, or destination workflow still depends on it.

## Diagnose a failure

1. Open the integration and select **Checks**.
2. Record the displayed reason and last sync time.
3. Review credential validation separately.
4. Correct provider URL, account state, permissions, or scope.
5. Select **Revalidate now**.
6. Unpause only after validation and provider access are ready.

Never include protected provider values in diagnostics or screenshots.

## Duplicate an integration

You need **Manage** permission under **Integrations**. Open the row action menu and select **Duplicate**. K16 opens the new integration's details when creation succeeds. Review its friendly name, direction, provider scope, configuration, and status before using it for an import or sync. A copied configuration still needs validation for its intended use.

The **Checks** tab provides provider-specific validation details. Review missing permissions and account checks there, separately from the saved credential-validation status in **Overview**.
